Support Us
The Little Sparta Trust is a Scottish registered charity. We aim to maintain and preserve Ian Hamilton Finlay’s garden and to share this unique artwork’s cultural significance further with audiences around the world.
To do this, we are reliant on the generosity of individuals, trusts and foundations. All donations, large or small, are welcomed and will be used only to protect and conserve Little Sparta.
You can donate to The Little Sparta Trust via CAF Donate. This is especially useful if you want to donate using a credit card or if you want to add Gift Aid to your donation.

Volunteering at Little Sparta
Volunteers are welcome at Little Sparta and are vital to our future development. We wish to appoint individuals to support front of house and visitor services activity and promise an enjoyable and rewarding experience with the opportunity to learn more about the work of Ian Hamilton Finlay and his garden.
We will provide training and offer our volunteers a free admission credit for every session worked. You could either bring a friend with you each time, or save them up for a group outing. For further information on volunteering, please email us.
Thank you
