This ceramic funerary urn is incised with an image of a Japanese Ohka type suicide bomber plane of the Second World War. Its sobriquet Cherry Blossom and the flower emblazoning the aircraft reflect the tribute paid by the Japanese to the men who flew them as being beautiful and short lived.
