The exhibition presents important photographs made at Little Sparta, the garden of artist/poet Ian Hamilton Finlay and collaborations with him, undertaken by Robin Gillanders between 1993 until Finlay’s death in 2006. Additional photographs made after 2006 relating to Finlay and Little Sparta are also included. Limited edition prints are available for sale during the exhibition.
Gillanders was a major collaborator and close friend of Finlay. He has exhibited nationally and internationally and has photographs in many important institutional collections. This will be his sixth book.
The book is published by Studies in Photography. 150 pages hardback. 265 x 210. Two versions of the book are available both as hardbacks. Standard hardback – £30. The other limited to 50 copies with a signed print -£90
